Taking a world title back to the Peach State is the young GA cowboy, Gavin Buchanan.  After a long year of roping Buchanan roped his way to the World Champion Junior Heeling title.  Roping behind his partner, Zoey Carpenter, the team was in the top ten all week long. 
Finishing as the reserve champion in the first go the team kept the ball rolling, finishing top then in the second go and fourth in the short go, winning them the National Finals Average Championship.  This team not only found success in the team roping arena, they also picked up some champion buckles in the ribbon roping during their week in Guthrie.  Starting his freshman year of high school, Buchanan is a cowboy you will want to keep your eyes on for years to come.
