Louisiana gained a new world champion in July, Trey Carroll, took home the 2021 Senior Bull Riding World Champion Saddle.  Despite breaking his hand only three short weeks before the finals he didn’t let it get in the way of what he had worked all year for. 
Placing in the first two go rounds Carroll was set up well going to Shorty’s Short Go, taking home several hand crafted Tres Rios buckles, including the National Finals Average Champion buckle.  As a freshman, Carroll, also compete in the National High School Finals Rodeo only a few short weeks after leaving Guthrie.
